Today, Malta's remote gaming sector is a success story even though online gaming was hardly ever heard of in Malta before the late 1990s. Within six months our clients were in operation, and others soon followed in their footsteps.

The first licences were issued for online bets, but this was only the beginning. Soon local legislation was revised to include online casino, poker and lotteries. Today, Malta is the only EU country to have enacted regulations to attract all types of remote gaming.
